The March Sunday #Series1 Event took place at Magalies Park Golf Club on Sunday the 21st of March.
The 2021 Season will feature 11 Events at Golf Courses in and around Gauteng including 4 qualifying Majors. 10 out of 11 scores will count towards the final Individual Stableford points Total giving players the leeway to have their lowest score fall away or miss an event.
The Race to the 2021 Series Championship is proudly Sponsored by Srixon. Going into the 3rd round of the Series Wayne Jeanson continues to leads the Srixon Standing now on 80 points. Prinay Panday moves to 2nd place, 3 points back on 77 points while JP Atwood rounds off the Top 3 a further point back on 76 points.
For the first time in Duckhook history Magalies Park featured on the tour calendar, 91 eager players arrived on a perfect day for golf to take on the challenge. Louis Gerber playing off a 4 handicap constructed the best round of the day to take his first career victory on -2 (38 points) shooting 74. Louis scorecard consisted of Birdies on the Par 5 – 6th, Par 4 – 10th, Par 5 – 13th and Par 4 – 17th to go with his 9 Pars. Louis earns himself 550 Player Ranking Points and an Automatic entry into the 2021 Masters to be played at Pecanwood.
After 3 Round on Series1, three players now summit the standings on 108 I.S Points. Wayne Jeanson remains at the top now joined by Prinay Panday and Randal Chetty. Graham de Villiers moves up from 8th to 4th a further 2 shot back on 106 points while Kobus Schoeman and Danie Geldenhuys round up the Top 5 players on 102 points.
