We Strive to create PGA Tour feel, the excitement of Tournament Golf with Live Scoring so you can see how you are preforming against your peers hole by hole. Duckhook has an awesome community of Golfers to be a part of, a Brotherhood of Golfers.
Duckhook events are for any golfer of any level at anytime in the Season. You can experience over 30 different Golf courses on the Series Calendar. You are welcome to play all the Series Events, you are not bound to a Series. For the Golfers who can not commit to a full Series, play whenever you are available. It’s all about enjoy social competitive golf Tournament.

All Tournaments feature Live Hole by Hole Live Scoring to really get you into the game.
The cost ranges between R400 and R550 depending on the course we playing and if carts are included.
We do have Loyalty Membership Packages, there are beneficial if you are playing often. You are welcome to play as a Non-Loyalty Member.

MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
Please note that all golfers are welcome to play in the Duckhook Social League without taking a Duckhook Loyalty Package, but Members will take first preference when entering into events on the Tour Calendar.
Duckhook Golfers have put together our own ‘Tour Calendar’ including various formats of the wonderful game to give players the opportunity to try their hand at different competitions within the year. Making playing golf with a bunch of friends more interesting and competitive as well as providing the opportunity to network and meet new people and golfing friends.
The 2020 Gauteng Duckhook Tour consists of the monthly Thursday League and TWO Sunday Leagues, #Series1 at the beggining of the month and #Series2 the third Sunday of the month

MONTHLY DUCKHOOK LEAGUE EVENT
Duckhook offers a Thursday League and Two Sunday League giving more golfers the opportunity to take part in the Duckhook League.
The League competition is open to all players. Players accumulate Individual Stableford points throughout the year and a winner is determined at the end of the season. It is not essential to play all the league days but accumulating points will be beneficial in qualifying for the Majors.
The competition fee for every League match is R80 which contributes to the cash prize pool and organising of the event.
The Majors
There will be Four MAJORS throughout the year, ‘Duckhook Masters’, ‘Duckook Open’, ‘Duckhook Players Championship’ and the ‘Duckhook Summer Cup’ played at renowned golf courses.
There will be a qualifying criteria for this competition as the field is limited to 32 and 40 players. This will give golfers a goal to achieve during the year.
To Qualify:
- Major winners gain automatic entry for the next 4 majors.
- Winners of the monthly Thursday and Sunday League event during the qualifying period for the next major gain automatic qualification.
- Remaining spots go to the top players with the most Ranking points earned from the 3 Qualifying League events from the Thursday League and Sunday Leagues
- The Season League Winners and Players Rankings winners will gain entry into all 4 Majors for the following season.
DuckHook Singles Knockout
A Singles Match Play Tournament will will be contested between the months of March and November will determine the true Match Play Champion.
DuckHook Team Knockout
Known as the Team Champions League. The Group stages will have Groups of 4 Teams playing each other. The Top 2 teams move through to the Knockout Stages from the Round of 16. The competition will be competed between the months of March and November to determine the best Team Match Play Champions.
The Duckhook Classic
The Duckhook Classic is a true test of golf character as players face a 54 hole, 3 day event! Duckhook strives to provide our golfers the opportunity to experience the different challenges of Golf competitions and formats and the Classic’s challenge is every shot will count in the medal format.
The Challenge500
The Duckhook Challenge500 is arguably the Biggest and most Challenging event on the Duckhook Calendar! A true test of golf, 36 holes in one day!
Randpark Golf Club and Royal Johannesburg and Kensington have hosted the Challenge500, with the bonus of playing both courses on one day! Open invitation to all players on the Duckhook Tour.
The dates for all the events have been pre-scheduled an entire year in advance in an effort to give the players an opportunity to diarise the golf far in advance.
