The 2019 Thursday League Season was be Bigger and Better! The 6th edition of the Thursday League will consisted of 12 Monthly Events, with each Event played at a different Golf Club around Gauteng, giving Golfers the opportunity to apply their skills at a new challenging course against a large field of Social League players.
The Format for all League Events is Individual Stableford. Players are required to collect as many I.S points over the 12 events in the quest to become the 2019 Thursday League Champion come the Final event of the Season at Blue Valley Golf Estate!
This Season came down to the wire after 11 Events with weather had the last say at Blue Valley the Final round of the season.
Frikkie Barnard beat 165 players became the 2019 Thursday League Champion accumulating 374 I.S at an average of 34,00. Frikkie season included 6 Top 10 Finishes including a Victory at Ruimsig at the 3rd round of the Season. Frikkie walks away with a 2 Night Golf Tour for 8 players to the Magnificent Nkonyeni Residential and Golf Estate
Dylan Stafford concluded his Season in 2nd place 10 points back on 364 points at an average of 33,09 with a Victory coming at Irene in July.
Ruben Swart completed the Top 3 a further point back on 363 points.
