Sunday morning the 11 October 2020  the 7 round was hosted at Royal Durban. 23 players took on the course that is surrounded by the Greyville horse racing track. With overcast and windy conditions throwing out the Challenge for the day, Kobus Nel looked to defend his Sunday league lead on 184 points, a 5 point lead.
Demi Lamp playing off a 12 handicap started the day with a 1 pointer on the first hole. The second hole she made a double drop. Demi fought back with Birdie on the Par 5 – 5th hole to move back to +2 and then finishing the front nine with 3 consecutive Pars to get her round back to Even Par, 18 points to move onto the Back nine.
Andrew Cassles, playing as steady as always took the early lead with an eagle on the Par 5, 5th hole. Ross Henry playing off a 13 handicap took the lead on -2 after 9 holes that included 4 Par’s and 1 birdie coming in. Turning on to the back nine the wind started taking its toll on the players. Gusting up to a 3 club wind at one stage it became difficult for the men to keep up with the lady in the field.  Demi continued her Par run on the back nine with Pars on the 10th, 11th and 12th holes to reach -2. On the final hole Demi hit the Par 5, 18th fairway to set her up with a 160m to the flag approach. Finding the green in 2 she only needed to make par to take the win away from the men as she secured her spot in the Master.

The Durban Tour Calendar now features 8 League Events with each Event being played at a Different golf course in and around Durban. Each event will be an Individual Stableford format, requiring players to accumulate points over 18 holes.

Player Ranking points will be allocated to each finishing position and the player with the most points at the end of the Season will be crowned the Player of the Season.
