The September Event of the #Series1 Season moves to the south eastern edge of Pretoria to Wingate Park Golf Course on Sunday the 6th of September 2020.
A regular course on the Duckhook Tours over the Seasons Wingate Par 72, parkland course is a club steeped in history and provides ancient trees line the fairways, flowering shrubs pop up wherever the eye wanders and a variety of birdlife have made Wingate their home.
This Season now feature 8 League Events with 7 of 8 Rounds counting to the over League Standings!
After 5 Rounds Hanno Oosthuizen now leads the Standings moving to the top spot on 148 points, 5 point ahead 2nd place Danie Geldenhuys and Frikkie Barnard on 143 points. Johandre Swanepoel and Randal Chetty tie for 4rd place on 141 points. There is all to play for with only 4 rounds remaining.
The player with the most points at the end of the Season will be crowned the 2020 Sunday League Champion and win a 2 Night, 8 man Golf Tour sponsored by Nkonyeni Residential Golf Estate!
The Tour also features 3 qualifying Majors which will see the Top 12 Ranked players from the 3 Gauteng Leagues qualify for the 32 to 40 player Medal Tournament.
Wingate is the final Qualifying round for the Final Majors of the Season, The Duckhook Summer Cup taking place on Friday the 4th of November at Glendower Golf Club.
