A Season which featured 31 events on the 2019 Gauteng Duckhook Tour Calendar saw Danie Geldenhuys successfully defend his 2018 Title, beating 309 Duckhook Golfers appeared on the 2019 Player Rankings Standings throughout the Season.
Danie had an outstanding Season becoming the 1st Player to pass the 5000 point mark to end his Season on 5047,30 Ranking points 1452,72 points ahead of 2nd place Dylan Stafford on 3584, 58. Frikkie Barnard completed the Top 3 on 3413,16 points.
Danie’s Season included Victories on the Thursday League in May at Huddle Park. A Sunday League win at Copperleaf in July, and his 1st Major Victory at the Season Ending Summer Cup at Glendower to earn 850 points!

2019 Player of the Season
Duckhook has established a Player Rankings System to determine how the players are progressing throughout the season and to provide incentive to play more Duckhook Events!
The 2019 Season will have rankings points allocated for all events on the Duckhook Calendar, including Thursday and Sunday League Events, all Major Championships, The Duckhook Classic, The Knockouts and the Challenge500.
Player Ranking Points are allocated to all Events, THE MORE YOU PLAY THE MORE POINTS YOU CAN EARN toward the Player of the Season Rankings.
