The 2nd #Series2 Sunday League event of the Season moved to the South Eastern suburbs of Pretoria to Woodhill Golf Estate for on Sunday the 23rd of February 2020!
#Series2 Tour Calendar features 11 League events from January to November with each event being played at a different golf course in and around Gauteng. The League format is Individual Stableford, the player with the most points at the end of the season will win a Weekend Away at Nkonyeni Golf Estate!
Rhyan Jeanson lead the field of 64 players constructing a round of -4 (40 points) off his 14 handicap to take Victory by 3 shots over second place Terance Richardson on 37 points. Rhyan scorecard included 9 Pars on his way to shooting 82 for his 2nd career Duckhook Career Win.
Rhyan jumps from 26th on the Standings to the number 1 spot on 72 points at an average of 36 points. Terance Richardson moves up from 20th to 2nd only one place behind on 71 points. Bryton Ndiweni, Carl van der Linde and Danie Geldenghuys all occupy 3rd spot a further 1 point back on 70 Individual Stableford points.
The Tour also features 4 qualifying Majors which will see the Top 12 Ranked players from the 3 Gauteng Leagues qualify for the 32 player Medal Tournament.
Woodhill will be 2nd qualifying round for the 1st Major of the Season, The Duckhook Master taking place at Serengeti on Friday the 3rd of April where the Top 32 to 40 players from all the leagues will compete.
Player Ranking points will be allocated to each finishing position and the player with the most points following all 19 Events will be crowned the Gauteng Player of the Season!
