The 2nd Major of the Season, The Duckhook Open took place at The Ebotse Links on Sunday the 30th of June.
After 3 months of Qualifying (April to June) 44 of the Top Duckhook Golfers collected enough ranking points to earn the right to Tee it up at the 2nd Major of the Season.
The Medal tournament featured a leaderboard which had multiple contenders at the top spot at a point in the 18 holes. 3 players left it to the last hole to make up shots to finish on -1 to setup a play-off.
Jaco Jacobs, Bobby van der Spuy and Rhyan Jeanson all teed it up on the 9th hole. It took only 1 play-off hole to separate the trio, after Bobby carded a Birdie to secure his 1st Major Victory.
Congratulations to Bobby as he also earns 850 player ranking points and an all Inclusive entry to the Duckhook Classic Tour to Highland Gate.
