Ronnie Wolhuter holds of 99 players at Ruimsig to take Victory

The February Sunday #Series2 Event took place at Ruimsig Country Club on Sunday the 21st of February.

The 2021 Season will feature 11 Events at Golf Courses in and around Gauteng including 4 qualifying Majors. 10 out of 11 scores will count towards the final Individual Stableford points Total giving players the leeway to have their lowest score fall away or miss an event.

The Race to the 2021 Series Championship is proudly Sponsored by Srixon. Kerrow O’Connell leads the standing after 1 round on 38 points, 2 points ahead of Aldo Fourie on 36 points. Matthew Widdall, Randal Chetty and Stephan Meyer occupy 3rd position on 35 points. The Champion Golfer will receive a Year’s supply of Srixon Golf Balls as well as exemption into all the 2022 Majors!

99 Players took on the Ruimsig layout with Ronnie Wolhuter finishing in the Top position on -6 (42 points) His personal best round of 80 of his 14 handicaps. Ronnie’s round consisted of Birdies on the Par 5 – 4th and Par 5 – 9th to go with his 8 Pars. Ronnie takes his first career victory and earning himself 550 Player Ranking Points and an Automatic entry into the 2021 Masters to be played at Pecanwood.

After 2 Round on Series2, Kerrow o’Connell continues to lead 114 Tour Players with another under par round of -4 (40 points) taking his points total to 78. Stephan Meyer  moves up to 2nd place, only 4 points behind on 74 while Nicki Vallentgoed and Ronnie Wolhuter both occupy the 3rd position on 71 points.
