The 2024 Season will be the 11th Season of Duckhook Golfers. Features 41 Events in and around Gauteng!
We Strive to create PGA Tour feel, the excitement of Tournament Golf with Live Scoring so you can see how you are preforming against your peers hole by hole. Duckhook has an awesome community of Golfers to be a part of, a Brotherhood of Golfers.
LEAGUE EVENTS
Duckhook Events (excluding Majors) are for any and all golfer of any level at anytime in the Season. You can experience over 30 different Golf courses on the League Calendar. Sunday League#1 is mainly scheduled the 1st Sunday of the month will tee times from 11am. The Thursday League takes place in the middle of the month, these tournaments tee off early morning from 7am. Sunday League#2 is around the 3rd Sunday of the month with tee times also starting from 11am.
This Season, Sunday League#1 will feature a majority of Pretoria courses with the aim to accommodate players from the north.
Sunday League#2 will feature more Johannesburg course, for the players living more central.
Players are welcome to compete in all the League Events, you are not bound to a League. For the Golfers who can not commit to a full Series, play whenever you are available. It’s all about enjoy Social Competitive Golf Tournament.
Cost base cost per Tournament will be R500 which includes competition fee and admin fee. All League Tournaments formats are Individual Stableford, each player for themselves.
MAJORS
The Season features 4 Majors which players need to qualify for. The qualifying cycles are 3 months, starting in January. The Exempt players and Top14 of each Series will qualify. The qualifying is based on ranking points earned on each individual League. Generally a Top 5 finish at any Tournament is enough points to secure your spot.
The Majors is a field of 44 to 48 Golfers and the Competition format is Medal. Ball must go into the hole.

THE CLASSIC TOUR to Highland Gate
The 6th Edition of the Classic will once again return to the Ultimate Golf destination. 3 Rounds and 3 Nights at one of the most picturesque Golf Courses in the Country. Just out side Dullstrom. 3 Rounds of Medal from 3 different tee boxes. Day 1 is Blue Tees, Day 2 is Championship Tees, Day 3 is White Club Tees. Each Round is followed by Dinner and Evening prize giving and entertainment. Golfers stay in beautiful houses in the Estate.
TEAM MATCH PLAY TOURNAMENT
Golfers pair up into Teams. A Draw will be done to creat groups of 4. Each group will play 3 matches and earn points in a log system. The Top 2 teams from each group will move onto the Knockout Stage for Round of 16 to the Final. Matches are scheduled when both teams are available within Series Events.
SINGLES MATCH PLAY TOURNAMENT
The Singles Match Play format changes from time to time depending on how many players enter. 2022 featured a Cup and Plate division. Matches are scheduled when both players are available within Series Events. Straight Knockout from stage to stage.

The 2023 Duckhook Season is powered by Srixon Golf. The 2023 Player of the Season will Win a set of Srixon Irons and Golf Bag.
The Series Champions will each walk away with a Year Supply of Srixon Golf Balls.
